Vintage Circus Unisex Nursery Wall Art

After trying to locate all of the nursery photos to share with a friend
the other day, I realized that I have not properly written a full post
and shared photos, now that the nursery is completely done.

The baby will be 9 months the end of this month, can't believe
it!! These photos were taken when she was a little bigger than a
newborn, 14 days old. She was a stinker and stayed awake
almost the entire photo shoot but I LOVE how they turned out.

The wooden Circus banner I found on Pottery Barn Kids for
a steal! Only $10 with free shipping, I couldn't pass it up!

The little red shelves are from Hobby Lobby, the perfect
planking of the repurposed window that I found on the curb
in Newport - thank you hubby for fixing it up a bit!

My LeroyLime Workspace

Well, I guess you could say, you can't pinch me in my LeroyLime workspace,
as my pop of color amidst all the white is non other than GREEN!!

and since Spring is right around the corner, a bit of organization inspiration
for you all - sit back, check it out, enjoy & pop over if you want to create
or just gab over a cup of coffee!

I'm not going to lie...my desk RARELY looks like that
but I just moved a few things to a folding table I use every
now and again when I have large projects I'm working on.

My carpet is either littered with baby toys or cleared for
my workouts. Where I'm standing to take the photos,
there isn't a wall, it's an open room, which makes it a nice
space for me to work. I can still be present, not hidden
away and my kiddos are extremely good about keeping
their tiny paws off Mama's goodies!

I'd love to hear what you think...comments with any questions
you have about something you're struggling with organizing in
your craft room or home. I'd love to help!

DIY Baby Food

I'm no foodie BUT I had to post about this...it only took me 4
kiddos to finally make my own baby food and WOW, was it ever easy!

One of my friends said, "if you can boil water, you
can make baby food" and she was right!

I didn't have ice cube trays, so decided to use the
next best thing...a mini cupcake tin
I used a small cookie scoop to dish them up,
covered with cellophane and popped the entire tray
in the freezer. In the morning, I popped the frozen
balls out of the tray and put them in a ziplock freezer bag.

I put a few in the fridge for the next day in small baby containers
and they are the perfect size to reheat and add a bit of rice cereal to
to thicken as desired.

- Applesauce -
My first batch of apples, I didn't add anything spices to
but my second batch I added a bit of cinnamon and
she gobbled them up!

- Broccoli and Carrots -
I just brought the water to a boil, steamed the
veggies for about six minutes and then threw it in
the mini food processor, it blended perfectly.

- Butternut Squash -
I added a bit of butter and a teaspoon of orange juice
to each half after cleaning out the seeds
and placed this in the oven open side up
covered with tin foil.
Bake for 1-1/2 hrs at 350.
